Extra Hours

I've been able to pick up some extra hours at Target!!! I'm so thankful for them. Last week I worked 5 days and so far this week I have 3 days. I'm looking forward to my next check!!! I also found out the renters have started to move out! Thank you God! They have until the 10 of June to completely leave. I'm going to post a notice tomorrow to check out the condition of the house. I hope to find most of their stuff moved out. I'm praying for the buyers of that house to be able to walk in and see past the renters mess to the wonderful home it is. I hope to post we have a buyer for the house soon.

Birds

The birds are eating my unripe blueberries and blackberries!! I have birdfeeders outside full of seed for them but they are picking off my berries. I would think the bitter taste of the unripe berries would detour them from picking them.

Back At It!!

I'm now down 7lbs!!! I got fusterated with all that is going on with the renters and stopped doing the dread mill and I wasn't counting my carbs again. I got back on it and focused again. So far I drop a pound each day I do it right. I want to drop 30 pounds at least. At this rate if I would just stay focused I could hit my goal in a month!! I would be over the moon if I can drop 40 pounds. I know the last 10 pounds can be super hard so I'm focusing on the first 30....only 23 more to go!!

Time Changer

My sweet Lauren is now wearing a watch. I've worked with the kids a couple times on telling time but they are still learning about it. Monday Lauren asked if it was lunch time yet. I told her not yet, when it's 12:00 it will be lunch time and told her to check her watch and tell me what time it was. I knew it was 11:31, but I wanted to see if she understood what time it was. I was about to help her count how long it was until 12 but then she started moving the hands on the watch. She change the time on her watch to be 12 then told me ok now it's lunch time!!!!! I couldn't help myself I started laughing and explained even if she moves the hands on her watch it's still not time yet. Gotta love her!!!

Renters

Tomorrow I have to yet again post a notice for our renters. We are going to put that house on the market with them in it. Sadly they haven't paid 2 months of rent and many other things so we are evicting them. I'm ready for this whole thing to be over. Please pray we are able to sell that house.

Grandpa Mick

As you know Grandpa Mick has skin cancer returned to his lungs. We have been praying for months now that the trail treatment did would stop the cancer from growing and that he would be cancer free. Well he went for a scan today to see what is going on with the tumors in his lungs. He found out the tumors haven't grown and they aren't as dense as they were. So now we wait another 3 months for the next scan. Please join me in praising God for this news!!

Nap Time

Today when I went into Liam's room to pray with him before he took a nap I turned off the light. After I prayed with him he told me it was too hard from him to see with the light off. I told him he is suppose to have his eyes closed so no worries about the light!

Dread Mill

Last week I lost 4lbs!!! This last weekend I put one back on but I know this week I will drop that pound again. I hope to drop at least 4 more pounds. More would be great too. I took the weekend off for Mother's Day. Please keep me in your prayers. I'm looking forward to weighing myself tomorrow morning. I can tell a couple of my shorts are starting to fit better. Tomorrow I have to go to court to file papers to evict the renters. I know I will be stressed out so I might just do the dread mill 2 times.

Pound

Why is it so easy to put on a pound but it's so hard to take one off?? Yesterday I walked on the dread mill for 30 minutes and stuck to my diabetic diet. I did skip my snack but that was because things were so crazy I didn't have a moment to eat. I lost one pound! I would like to see more than that! Ok I know one pound is good. I would like to drop 8-10 pounds this month. I'm beyond fusterated with so many things that are going on I'm afraid I won't drop pounds because of my stress. I'm sure this is another lesson in giving all things over to God and keeping my eyes on him and not what is going on!

Dan's Visit

One of Handsome's good friends came for a visit this last weekend. We really enjoyed having him here. I think the kids had as much fun with Mr. Dan (or as Liam called him Mr. Daniel) as Handsome did.

We hope to visit Mr. Dan and his family next year. The boys were very sad when he left. Last night at dinner Liam prayed for Mr. Daniel! Beau wants to know when he is coming back and is he going to bring his kids next time!

Diet again!

I took the boys to the local Spring Fest on Saturday. We had so much fun. Each of the boys got new helmets for free!!! I think it's about time to get Liam a 2 wheeler bike, but he said he isn't ready yet. I had my blood sugar checked while we were there. It's high! So back on the diabetic diet. UGH! I know I have to stick to it so I will. I'm also walking on the dread mill for 30 minutes a day, at least to start. 15grams of carbs for breakfast is hard. There isn't much I want to eat that is only 15 grams. Handsome said eat a salad for breakfast or some meat. Those sound great for lunch, dinner or even a snack but not for breakfast. Today both Handsome and I started our new lifestyles...better known as diets. I need to eat more protien and Handsome needs to eat less protien! LOL!! I hope to report weight loss soon! I'm going to get a meter today so I can also keep track of that too. I know that will make a huge difference in how I feel. Hopefully I won't be so tired anymore.
