Liam and his hoeWhen Liam was 2 years old I got him a plastic gardening set. His favorite toy was a plastic hoe. He loved it. He carried the hoe around everywhere. He would ask if he could sleep with his hoe. I never thought I would ever say “yes honey you can sleep with your hoe” but I did all the time. He loved his hoe. If I took him to the store he would take his hoe…I made him leave it in the van while we were in the store. When we went for a walk he took his hoe. I had to take it away because he started using it to hit others.
